👰🤵‍♂️ On Tuesday, American Marriage Ministries emailed me to remind me that it had been two years since I was ordained. I can marry people in any state, and as far as I know the ordination never expires so maybe that’s my next career?
I ~subscribed to~ became a patron of Fuji X Weekly this week. I enjoy Ritchie’s blog and (of course) the film simulation recipes so it seemed a good exchange. Glad to support such good work as this.
📣 I got rid of the “Opinion” tag on my blog and replaced it everywhere with more precise alternatives. They’re all my opinions, right?
💣 I usually ignore the ads on Instagram and TikTok, but these EZ Bombs caught my eye. Seem like a great idea, but I was disappointed to find they only come in the one flavor. Maybe more in future?

Over on Mastodon, a clever poster asked followers to make a Normal distribution. The results were not bad, but not quite normal either.

🎥 Maique added a post to his 24 FPS blog, which I’m just seeing for the first time. I don’t really get into video, but a side blog for short snippets might be another idea worth stealing.
🚄 This video about some crazy Japanese trains reminded me that I need to get back to Japan.
⌨️ My Matias Mac keyboard died so I purchased an inexpensive replacement made by Macally. I was really disappointed with the Matias. To be honest, I can’t ever remember a keyboard failing me before.

Starlink is enshittifying the world. First we heard how Starlink is wrecking astronomy, now we’re hearing that it’s wrecking the ozone layer.
🤣 Writing for Ars Technica, Samual Axon tells how “Dell said return to the office or else [and] nearly half of workers chose ‘or else’”. Count me amount the “nearly half.”

🌴 I’m now caught up on Acapulco season 3. I did not expect to get as involved with this show as I have, but here I am waiting with great expectations for what will happen to “old” Máximo and Julia.
✏️ I love wood pencils and I have a weakness for Blackwings, so I was very excited to watch “Why This Cult ‘$40 pencil’ Almost Went Extinct” from WSJ Coveted.
